Aspiring Authors

  • This group can help you to tell your story.  Get help with storylines, organization, editing and more.  

Art/History Series 

  • Quarterly, 10:30 am – 12 pm
  • Maureen Esther, Historyteller
  • Fee:  $7
  • Enjoy descriptive lectures discussing a variety of thought-provoking details of historical periods.  Historical periods include: American, Ancient, Art, Astronomy, European, Holiday, Russian, and Women’s.

BASCC in Books

  • 2nd Thursday at 1:30 pm
  • Facilitator:  Pat Hernlund
  • This group will concentrate on fiction and non-fiction and sharing your views of the books.  All are welcome.

Bestseller Book Club

  • 3rd Wednesday – 1:00 pm
  • Join this new group of book lovers who will discuss current bestsellers.

Book Talk

  • Mondays, 2-4 pm – September through May
  • Facilitator:  Ann Plunkett
  • Join this group of book lovers to discuss readings by a variety of well-known authors.

Coin Club

Feature Films

  • 2nd Thursday at 12:30 pm
  • Newly released movies are shown on the big screen with surround sound.  The movie is free along with the popcorn and soda for attendees.  Sign up in advance in the office.

Lunch and Learn Series

  • Monthly speakers on topics of interest with lunch served for attendees.

Lunch Out

  • Monthly, 12:30 pm
  • Members meet monthly for visits to area restaurants to enjoy good food and friendly conversation.  Meet in the BASCC lobby to carpool for a 1 pm lunch.  For upcoming dates, restaurants and to register, call BASCC.

Red Hat Belles

  • The Red Hat Belles continue to plan gatherings for ladies dressed in red and purple! Luncheons and other fun events are eagerly anticipated. All are welcome to join them each month. Storytellers

  • The purpose of this group is to write about one’s life experiences and share them with group members.  The writing need not be professional or polished.  This is your self-written story, which might include family history, a dash of genealogy or a special memory.
